Do have to say, Aggy's good at games but his sense of direction and retention of map layout is pretty awful. The game encourages you to get lost a little, but you are also supposed to actually recall where things are. The game may not have the most direct paths, but that's part of the whole ocean aesthetic you know, it's VAST and O P E N. In short: Aggy, just get good.

I absolutely understand that things like "being able to see the monster in the cameras" or "having the choice to free the prisoners" are pretty hard to realize. But I think when you build up the expectation that you can do those things, then its on the developer to actually satisfy those expectations or its going to end in disappointment. Maybe its just a bit too ambitious to make a game about a monster without having a monster to show for..

It is lame to skip enemies the first run of an area. It’s also lame to use a broken boss weapon for the hardest portions of your very first playthrough. You have enough range to leave the boss arena and still nail a charge attack when the enemy is staggered. Meanwhile parky is using the bioshock wrench attached to a stiletto hilt

I will say that this is the first time I’ve heard someone mention the audio. The enemies always sound like they are right behind you and can be at least 20 meters away

Is funny actually, had a conversation like Krill's once about the treasure/winning a jackpot lottery. Coworker was doing the typical "Donate to charity and help others!" and I just went "I'd make sure I got a working new car (I was driving an old one at the time), get me/parents a nice house we own, and help siblings out of debt and ensure they are comfortable." When asked what about the starving children/etc I replied "There isn't a point in dumping the money all to charity if my own life isn't stable and secure."
